Nepal is a country with both amazing natural beauty and significant economic challenges. While Nepal is blessed with breathtaking natural beauty, it also grapples with economic disparities that have persisted for years. In the heart of this developing nation, a significant number of people are still struggling to secure their basic necessities, despite having average incomes. The cost of living continues to rise, leaving many families on the edge of financial insecurity. The economic landscape is compounded by the lack of business opportunities and knowledge, causing local businesses to close down and individuals to face financial losses. The consequences of these challenges are widespread, affecting lower-level farmers, poor communities, and residents from all walks of life.
Out of total cultivable land area of 4.121 million hectares, only 3.091 million hectares are currently being cultivated which means that there is a significant amount of uncultivated land in Nepal. Also, according to the Government of Nepal, there are approximately 1.030 million hectares of barren land in Nepal which accounts for about 25% of the country’s total cultivable land area which hasn’t been used for any productive segments.
The need for economic upliftment, not only for the lower-income segments but for all Nepalese, is glaringly apparent. In response to these pressing issues and as a catalyst for economic change, ” Multi Agro National Investment Company Limited” has been established with the mission to uplift the lives of Nepalese citizens, regardless of their background or income level.
